Meet Laura

my PASSION

Laura Halloran is the Founder & Designer of Elle Ruth Print + Script. Receiving her degree in Graphic Design, she had dreams of designing for a publishing company. And yet, from a young age, Laura was enamored with weddings and the details put into someone’s special day. The yearning to have a creative outlet, to design something special for someone, and coupled with a love of all things paper, Laura began designing wedding suites for friends and family. Her passion for script has helped couples ensure even the detail of the envelope doesn’t go unnoticed with her classic and timeless calligraphy.

Why me?

Jumping into the wedding scene was unnerving and scary. What would set me apart from all the other calligraphers and designers? Would I gain a following? Could I do this full time? The truth is, I’m not quite sure its what sets me apart, but whether I’m a good fit for you. I’m a planner who’s meticulous with even the slightest details, and L O V E to be pushed out of my “design” comfort zone. I love meeting new people and getting to know them. There’s a relationship between the designer and client, and I love that about my job.

At at the end of the day, when I hand over a suite to a client, my heart feels happy. And that, my friends, is how you know you’re doing something you love.
